- Woke up around 4, still felt sleepy, so I slept and woke up again at 10
- It was cloudy so I thought it was gonna rain, ordered food and it arrived exactly 12 noon
- this was an excuse for me to try Wendy's new peach iced tea
- it was good, I like the taste, not so sweet. I thought it was as sour as their regular calamansi iced tea
- I bought a game for the Switch, it's called Super Nanaru, a continuously scrolling platformer game where you need to avoid obstacles

- The problem with educators nowadays is they don't tickle the imagination of students, therefore what seems to be a reasonable subject can turn boring
- Went to Megamall today to buy shoes for me and my gf for the Christening of my niece tomorrow, dropped by Podium to see the piano. The sustain pedal is not maintained well; you have to step on it so hard and the dampers still catch the strings easily making re-pedaling hard
- The line from the UV Express at Megamall was a bit long so I walked for a while to J. Vargas to catch a UV Express

- Woke up at 5 AM
- What if I took photography?
- I want to capture fleeting moments such as the color of the sky during sunrise/sunset
- Just want to go to Ortigas and shoot the street there on a Sunday when no one's around
- Need to sort out the YouTube videos I'm watching!
- Sleepy afternoon, we thought we were lost on our way to the reception after my niece's Christening
- A lot of my sister's and brother-in-law's friends are here
- I liked the coffee jelly best, then the spaghetti

- We here are usually told "look, that man/woman's old already" when there are inconveniences regarding the elderly, but is it the expectation that as a person ages, he or she will have more wisdom and patience to deal with the things happening around him/her?
- Unless the said person is ill, then the expectation is then passed to the more able-bodied people
- Woke up at 9:30 today, because I was kept awake by my gf talking to her mom for a few hours
- Although I saw some realizations, that my gf's family wasn't as stable as I thought--I used to ask her if she mourned on the passing of her father, but she replied as if she had no remorse that she went on from it easily
- The family on her father's side was not the family you'd wish to belong to...the contrary is true on her mother's side, as I have the impression of her mother as a hardworking lady who can stand her ground whenever people would offend her
- I find some of the people in my news feed were posting how they had their marriages (not surprisingly with a happy image), then just a few months later you'll see a picture of a baby--I think marriages (shotgun marriages) now are just mere ceremonies to save face, and an occasional flex on social media "hey look, we're living a happy life and that's the image of us we choose to show you"
- You know how a lot of things on social media are just short-lived fads nowadays? The $THING that's famous now are now lost to time in several weeks' time.

- My criticisms with modern "influencers" like M.A. Buendia is that they provide shallow advice, something in the lines of "if he hurts you over and over, let him go; you are more important than you think you are". This is harmful, because aspects of human life is intricate, and advice like these are idealistic, as if we already have the whole context over people's shortcomings. Thus, it would appear to me that instead of making people think for themselves on what better courses of action they take, said people leave it to these influencers to decide for them.

- Write down all the big things in life that you vaguely want but your haven't made a plan for
- Fast forward a lot of years until you're on your deathbed
- "How would you describe your life if you had done it all?" - Future Me 1
- "How would you describe your life if you had done nothing of these?" - Future Me 2
- Write down all of the advice the Future You 1 would give to you now
- Write down all of the regrets that Future You 2 would have about their life
- Identify the things that cause Future You 2 a lot of pain """non negotiables"""
- "If you had to do this in one year, how would you do it? And if you don't do this in one year, someone will cut off all your limbs and stick your fiance in jail for life."
- You could do it + But you're not doing it = Pain
- Pain of _not_ doing it vs. Pain of doing it
- Cup List
- Buckets are big and a bit exciting
- Cups are smaller and a bit more mundane
- Cup list - it's the everyday problems that are easier to adapt to than they are to solve

- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Y1EDxsKjrc "Why you can change the world, but shouldn't"
- Do something big
- Be bold. Create impact
- "The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do" - Steve Jobs
- When we say we want to change the world, it is usually in our best interest to do so
- Changing the world is usually ego-centric and subjective, we think we know what the world needs through our perception of it
- Changing the world means rolling the dice
- We should never roll the dice, for the sake of saying that we did
- We are agents of change amidst the seemingly endless string of cause and effect
- we cannot avoid change
- We should perhaps be more concerned with appreciating the world, respecting it, finding meaning and connection to it, navigating through it, [[following our passions]] and interests, doing our best to find peace and wonder, encouraging others to do the same, and letting the world change how it may (see [[wu wei]])
